Answer Your Door Without Opening It — or Drilling It
StoopCam™ mounts with adhesive or a bracket and rings a chime inside — so you know who's out there before you decide, and your door frame
never knows you were here.
Every knock at 10pm goes the same way:
- The chim rings inside
- Your phone shows the doorway
- You say "leave it by mat" - from the couch
- Then — back to your night
No peephole squint, no standing still hoping they leave, no holes in a door you don't own
PRODUCT FEATURE
Mounts Without a Single Hole
Built around 3M VHB adhesive — the same tape carmakers use to hold badges and trim to a moving vehicle. It grips smooth doors, metal frames, and glass panels. For brick or stucco, the included bracket hangs on the frame with no adhesive at all. Two options in the box, zero holes either way.
Rings Inside, Not Just on Your Phone
The included chime plugs into any outlet in your apartment. You hear the door from the shower, from the kitchen, with your phone face-down on silent. It's the feature buyers of this category praise most in reviews — and the one most sellers never bother to mention.
Sees Faces, Ignores Headlights
1080p at a 166° angle, wide enough to catch the whole landing and whatever's sitting on the mat. Infrared night vision after dark. AI human detection tells a person from a passing car or a shifting shadow, so your phone stays quiet until it matters.
Built for an Uncovered Doorway
Impact-resistant shell, UV-stable so it won't yellow on a sun-facing landing. Rated for rain, snow, and summer heat on an exposed walk-up — not just a sheltered porch. Battery lasts weeks per charge and tops up over USB-C in about three hours.

Customer Reviews

I rent, so drilling into the door wasn't happening. The adhesive mount has held up perfectly and took maybe five minutes to install.Sarah M. • First Apartment

We have delivery drivers at our building all day. I mostly wanted to know when my package actually showed up instead of finding it sitting outside hours later. This does exactly that.Chris T. • Chicago, IL

My lease doesn't allow drilling into the door frame, so I assumed a video doorbell wasn't an option. I had StoopCam mounted with the adhesive in under ten minutes. It feels secure, looks clean, and I can take it with me when I move.SOPHIA T., FIRST-TIME RENTER

FAQ

No drilling, no screws, no wiring. The adhesive mount lifts off with 30 seconds of heat from a hair dryer and leaves no residue or paint damage. If you'd rather not use adhesive at all, the included bracket hangs on the frame without any fixing. Nothing about installing StoopCam touches your security deposit — that's the whole reason it exists.

Fair question, and we'd rather answer it than pretend nobody asks. Cameras in this category come out of a handful of factories and get sold under a lot of names — we're not going to claim ours is secretly different hardware. What you're paying for is the 12 months of cloud storage bundled in (worth $59.88 on its own), a US warehouse instead of a three-week wait, a 90-day refund we actually honor, and a support inbox with a person in it. If none of that matters to you, the $10 listing is a fine buy and we won't be offended.

Not for the first 12 months — it's included in the price, not a trial that quietly renews. After that, cloud recording is $4.99/month. Cancel it and live view, two-way talk, and motion alerts all keep working; you just won't have saved clips to scroll back through. We're putting this on the product page because "surprise subscription" is the single most common complaint in this category, and we'd rather lose the sale here than earn a one-star review later.

No. This hardware has no SD card slot — video is stored in the cloud or not at all. Some buyers specifically want local storage, and if that's you, this isn't your camera. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out standing in your kitchen with the box already open.
